Welcome to Kennedy-Powell Elementary, a Project Lead the Way Launch campus!  It is my honor and privilege to serve the students, staff, and families of KP!  Our mission is to inspire students to become lifelong learners who thrive in a global society.  Our dedicated staff are incredible advocates for the success of all children.

Our students have the qualities of great designers and innovators! Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Launch taps into their exploratory nature, engages them in learning that feels like play, and encourages them to keep discovering – now and for years to come.

PLTW brings learning to life. The program empowers students to adopt a design-thinking mindset through compelling activities, projects, and problems that build upon each other and relate to the world around them.  As students engage in hands-on activities in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science, they become creative, collaborative problem solvers ready to take on any challenge.

KP Stars have a rich history of excellence!  We have a close partnership of students, staff, parents, volunteers, and community where EVERYBODY WORKS TOGETHER!  Kennedy-Powell is filled with eager-to-learn students, supportive and involved parents, and an enthusiastic staff committed to quality education.
