Kennedy-Powell Elementary School Home

Our Story

Kennedy-Powell was built as a K-5 elementary campus in 1998 as part of a bond package that included three elementary schools. Kennedy-Powell is still a K-5 campus today, serving over 500 students.

We are a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Launch campus. PLTW is a nationally recognized program that focuses on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Students work through various learning modules each year that challenge them to think critically and apply concepts through real life applications.

New Temple Education Foundation Website!

The Temple Education Foundation develops community support to expand financial resources that enrich teaching and inspire learning to maximize opportunities for all students in the Temple Independent School District.
